are they your friends if they left you alone the first time you decided to drink? that happened to me last night and i’m trying to figure out if it was intentional and they hate me or it was just an accident

That’s not ok period. Even if it was an accident, you don’t leave your friend alone in public drunk, especially during their first time drinking. Those are not your friends, please stay safe🩷

i would 100% tell them exactly how it made u feel, completely valid to not want to be friends anymore after that, but if u aren't ready for that u can see how they reply to u communicating how shit it was that they did that

i do want to add that i was not that drunk just like kind of drunk and also we just sort of lost each other i don’t think they left me on purpose and also also they were taking care of another friend who was more drunk than me (actively throwing up). i don’t wanna defend them exactly but i really want to make sure i’m telling the whole story bc i’m trying to figure out if i’m overreacting

i think if they're apologetic about not waiting around to find u again then i'd be fine with it, just set a boundary that u would like to not get separated like that again

This. Given the situation it makes sense that the other friend took priority, but frankly you don’t need more than one person to take care of them. They could have stayed with you too. It’s not rocket science
