Noooo, pls don’t use adoption as a family planning tool. That’s not what it’s meant for. It should be child centered

What about what’s best for the child? It shouldn’t be about YOU

You can’t force someone to not adopt someone I would probably do it out of the foster care system anyway because that’s how I was adopted

How are still not getting that your decision is not child centered 😭 and what if a child in need of external care doesn’t want their birth records and family history altered?

When you when you adopt a child, they become part of your family

Way better than being the foster care system for your whole childhood now that shit will traumatize you

I’ve lived through adoption, and of course, I am educated on it. You clearly don’t seem educated on it.

Your last name changes in your parents can change your name when they adopt you

You know what I’m just blocking you because you have no clue what adoption process is. I was happy to be adopted when I was seven.

I already know all about the Foster care system in the US I lived through it and many people in my family are foster parents

I think you’re confusing adoption with the foster system. The goal of fostering is parent reunification. The goal of adoption is to find a permanent home for the child.

I’m so confused, would you rather have kids adopted by people who DONT want a kid???
