Am I insane for not wanting to get married? My bf and I have been together for 4 years and the older I get the more scared I am of him being my fiancé or even my husband like I love him but I like the way things are now and I don’t want them to change

you aren’t crazy and if you do not feel ready that is okay!! If it’s okay to share personal insight, as I just got married over the summer. The relationship between my husband and I didn’t change (in a good way), we love each other just as we always have, we treat each other just as we always have, the only difference is now we file government forms together. My husband and I had lived together and had decently combined finances for a couple of years (we still have separate bank accounts)

do not force yourself to do something you are not ready for as it might cause resentment later in life;marriage is a big commitment and it’s okay if you aren’t ready for that yet! You obviously still love your boyfriend and that’s the important part!
