I am never someone who would tell a woman “not all men”, I might think it but would never say it to someone who feels the need to say that…my dad, my grandfather(mom’s side), my dad’s best friend and a few other of his friends, plus my World champion master in Tae Kwon Do teacher, are/were all men I know or have known that have done right for me and most would die or at least go to jail for me🩷🫶

Got my ex to stop beating on my door in the middle of the night. Walked me home after work at 2AM. Picked me up when my car broke down. Let me ride his motorcycle. Pulled me out of the water when I was drowning. I could keep going but idk where yall find these “evil men” but I’m starting to think there’s pockets of them hiding in every city.

My bf is a great guy but to me it’s all men because you’ll never know which men are safe so it’s better to assume none are. I didn’t trust my bf right off the bat he had to prove it over time.

You’ll get out this phase soon. It’s like the pink pill equivalent. Men are an issue yes but not all men. That’s like men saying all women are evil. If you are talking about men as in the patriarchy I agree it’s messed up, but if you are talking about the character of all men, that’s not the case. Remember those “men” were small once too. their mothers don’t think of their sons like that, you don’t think of your dad or your brother like that because you aren’t experiencing them growing in love

Oo, built like 99.9% of the roads and buildings in all the towns/cities around me. Haul my trash away. Stayed late to get rid of the mold problem in my apartment. But those were all jobs they got paid for… the stuff in my first comment was just man friends doing man things.

And no I don’t wanna hear any men saying “well then all women are cheaters!” Generalizing a group of people because you perceive them as shitty individuals is not the same as generalizing a group of people for survival. I promise there’s not a lot of women actually out here being hateful to men because they’re men, it’s more of a learned caution and skepticism because not being this way gets you murdered or worse.

It’s probably your overall entitled attitude like people in this post owe you a response. You seem like an insufferable person and you’re just projecting it onto all men. (Not that girls shouldn’t be cautious, but judging every single one of them like you KNOW they are all dangerous and must prove it to you is absurd)

They called me dumb and I asked for an explanation, if they actually have something to critique me on I’m open to hear it. I don’t judge all men, I don’t go around accusing all men of rape, but I know if I treat them like they’re capable of it I’m less likely to be assaulted or killed. By saying my bf proved to me he was safe I mean his actions over time made me feel confident that he was actually a safe person, most men who hurt you aren’t strangers waiting in dark allies but people you know.

Trusting the wrong people is how you get raped, or murdered, and blamed for it. I’d rather assume no man is safe unless I’m shown otherwise than trust all men inherently. I don’t think men deserve hate, there’s no body who deserves hate because of something so superficial, but I do think it’s smart to be cautious of everyone, ESPECIALLY men.

you say generalizing is bad then you straight up generalize. its hypocritical, its demeaning to stereotype people, and its harmful to tearing down the patriarchy; if both sides keep this cycle of cynicism, there cannot be healing. there are cues to pick up when you know someone sucks, and you only learn that by experiencing. theres more to this than youre willing to consider because youre stuck in a high school mentality of “stranger danger”. nobody is out to get you, youll know if someone is.

My point is it’s safer to not assume safety in people and there’s a difference between generally a group of people because you don’t like them vs out of safety. I’m assuming you’re not a woman, if you were you’d know sometimes there’s NOT cues. It can be a stranger at the bar, it can be your friend, it can be someone on the street you’ve never met, it can be your family. You don’t always know if someone is out to get you, the worst abusers make sure you can’t tell until it’s too late.

Sorry for the shitty spelling I’m tired of restating my point over and over again for men to tell me I’m overdramatic, I know women who were held at knife point and raped by strangers and I know women who had their own family do it. There’s thousands of stories online if you look. I’ve watched my friends be catcalled, I’ve had men makes gross passes, I’ve seen it happen. If a man gives me no reason to think he’s a POS over time I’ll trust him, but until then Ill keep myself safe and not trust
