Lowkey insane I hate how modern technology has made some people think they’re always entitled to you and your time. Sometimes I just wanna doomscroll and not be bothered, just bc someone is online does not mean they need to be available to you

Interesting. Obviously your choice but there are many times that I’m scrolling through Instagram and not texting anyone back including my bf and I‘ve never felt like I needed to explain why I didn’t respond for an hour or two

that’s the thing it’s never just an hour or two in these cases for me at least lmao i don’t expect constant communication but many times people are gone for half the day or 5+ hours but are active on social media i personally don’t want to deal with that

yeah when someone is your romantic partner, giving communication on the fact that they need space is the bare minimum.
