My cousins were all much older than me/lived far away, so we barely have a relationship at all. It varies from family to family and culture to culture, but it is weird being so distant from all my relatives when up until now our family used to be so much more tight knit. I don’t really regret not being close to my family but, it must be nice to have cousins/relatives who feel like close friends
