My iron stores are so low and my periods are so heavy but I really don’t wanna go on birth control :/ and my pcp is ghosting me ab my recent labs for the last week

Ask for tranexamic acid! It will promote clotting to slow your flow.

Ordered some and they came in today! The only problem is that with heavy periods it’s like trying to fill a bucket with a hole and it might require iron infusions to get me back to a stable level
