and technically the baby wasn't even delivered, it was literally ripped out of her decaying body cause it's not like her body could function properly enough to even keep that baby alive

they did all of that for a baby that’s 1 lb? I’m sorry but at this point if you believe life begins at conception then how are you letting this baby suffer? just bc the baby is alive doesn’t mean it won’t have health complications…

When it first started there was no baby. Just a fetus at 8 weeks. The fact that it’s still considered a baby at that point shows what women are thought of.

it's exactly what it sounds like, they're grounds where they force men and women to reproduce and have children. they used to use them for slaves im pretty sure

i’ve heard of forced sterilization, but not forced reproduction. was just wondering if there were any academic sources on it or if it’s a word-of-mouth thing that was LIKELY to have happened, since we can’t really go off what some stranger on the internet is “pretty sure” of, no offense.

i don’t understand why this is downvoted; it’s not unheard of for someone to offer an academic article or the technically correct term for something on an app that was originally for college students only

it’s sick. reality is, pregnant women die. hard stop. that’s life. and she wasn’t far enough along to consider “emergency cesarean” god forbid she even knew she was pregnant in the first place. the decision should have been unanimous: she’s gone, put her in the ground - fuck “heartbeat”. georgia done pissed me off with this one.

it’s that there are far too many things pertinent to black history that are hard to read. they’re so cruel, however, it’s important to sit down and find sources and learn for yourself bc other peoples’ paraphrases will never surmount to the reality of the accounts being cited. now, a people’s history, the delectable n*gro, and a fb page called african american history iirc are amazing to start with.

i didn’t expect a perfect paraphrase; i was just asking for a phrase less incriminating and nontechnical to search than “human breeding farms”

Yeah it’s disgusting the fact that it is okay todo something like that especially against the family’s wishes to not keep her alive and all for a 1 pound baby that can’t breathe feed or anything

Not to mention the only reason that baby was born when it was is because her body was rotting and could not support life. If she herself could not support herself and survive what she went through who in the right mind thinks a 8 week old fetus can and survive being born at a HEALTHY weight

Dehumanization of the CHILD? How about the woman whose hormonal drug-filled, artificially-maintained corpse he was cut out of?

Adriana was *dead*. She was not alive. She was bit sentient. Yet she was forced to carry a child to term through artificial means. Tell me again, about this so-called dehumanization.

How about the the women they kept alive all to have this child while nothing but MACHINES are keeping her alive no real nutrients for the baby hince why it was only one guvking pound so next time you wanna fucking talk about dehumanizing maybe you should think a little more
