Honestly in my past relationship he said I love you first and I said “I don’t think I’m ready to say that back yet but I really really really care for you” or something like that and I didn’t think that was embarrassing for him at all.. if that helps at all.. but if he just didn’t acknowledge it that kinda sucks

he texted me later and said he wasn’t really expecting it and apologized like yes nice i just didn’t get an explanation really and IM ON MY PERIOD i’m naturally super emotional rn
