This is why I dropped out after my first year. It’s extremely isolating and feels like everyone is on a mission to make you look and feel stupid. It definitely didn’t help with the fact that the curve was competitive, so getting help studying from classmates was completely out of the question :/
I so get that. Many told me the same. I’ve found a study group, but I think they just added me because I “ask good questions in class”, so it feels utilitarian. I never found myself in a position where I subconsciously began trying to make myself smaller to draw less attention. I love law and I want to be a good lawyer, law school is just part of the journey to get there. I just hope I can find at least one genuine person and that I don’t lose myself to the competitive law school nature.
