seconding this! in queer spaces there are both few options for community members and very few options for people to date. these two groups usually overlap almost fully. can’t be holding up strong fences between people cause you’re all active in the same small community. i’m friends with pretty much every lesbian on campus and we all hang out despite everyone having a dating history with each other and their friends

I do feel queer communities are basically proof you can stay friends with an ex and be normal about it. I’ve known straight people who do it as well

Id also say with at least my community a much looser gooser grasp on monogamy so like what if my gf was talking with her ex i dont think me or my gf's gf would care
