X means dont strum or pluck and the O’s mean to pluck or strum them :)

so for A for example, would you only pluck or strum the strings with Os on them or would u also pluck/strum the ones that say 2 1 3?

Also strum the ones with numbers on them. It’s a little goofy that they even have the Os it really should only be X’s so u know what not to play lol
