As someone who has abandonment wounds, the best way to help yourself with this is everytime you feel a craving of needing attention is to remind yourself that your fuck ass dad who didn’t do his job and you’re not “wrong”. The first step is realizing the reason and now you can focus on building your relationship with yourself. Your attention should be the only thing that matters and others should want it. Give all that attention your giving them, to yourself. You need it the most!
