My bf always runs out of his room when I’m in the kitchen and he hears one of his roommates come in. I’m friendly with the guys and they are his close friends but for some reason he panics about me just chatting with them for a second? Idk

Could be what #2 said or it could be something else completely harmless just talk to him ab it! That being said lol…my ex was super weird ab me around his friends and it turned out it was bc they were all cheaters and terrible people and he didn’t want me finding out all his friends were trash bc ..welp let’s just say birds of a feather flock together. He was cheating on me and having fun little tinder times every boys trip with their encouragement 🙃

Playing devils advocate because I also think it’s a little weird but I didn’t like it when my old suite mates boyfriend was out around our suite by himself so maybe it’s because they feel better if your not out there by yourself? Although my suite mates boyfriend was creepy asf and part of a frat with like 12 title 9 violations in a year

Yeah it feels off but I can’t really put my finger on why?

either he doesn’t trust them to be alone with you because he thinks they’ll make a move or he’s hiding something & he doesn’t want them to blab or maybe he’s simply just weird & doesn’t want his friends to weird you out

That’s fair. I feel like it’s not that bc my bf has asked them if it’s okay if I’m over when he’s not there (I just stay in his room most of the time except for grabbing food or something) and they are fine with it, so probably not. But definitely valid.

I think he might think they would make a move but honestly I don’t think they would ever. He does it regardless of which roommate is out there, and one of them has a long term girlfriend. It just doesn’t make much sense to me

Maybe he is worried about them unintentionally triggering me or something? I’ve been sexually harassed quite a few times by people and sexually abused as a kid and one of the guys has no concept of what triggers are and that you can’t just ignore them, but like they aren’t ever physically close with me excluding a fist bump and have never made suggestive comments, just had a few little conversations here and there and shared memes or played games

I don’t know, I just can’t really wrap my head around it. I think I’ll ask him about it when we call later or something
