Does waxing make your coochie hair grow back thinner/softer? Bc if it does I will start in the fall. If not. What’s the running price for laser hair removal on the coochie?

Esthie here, waxing does thin the amount of hair could make it softer as it rips the hair from the root, making it take longer to grow back as it has to regrow from the follicle. Laser damages the follicles reducing or delaying regrowth and is not always permanent. PCOS patients can sometimes have the opposite effect with laser.

it usually will make the hair finer in texture when done properly but not make noticeably less of it grow per square inch if that makes sense

IPL can be faster and more effective results for some, if you have lighter hair this is a good move too. Waxes can depend on the esthie and her prices. Laser can be 50 to 300 per session, and IPL usually runs ya 300 to 600 per session. Largely depends on your price range and what you need. All do the same thing at its core.

I’ve only shaved, never waxed. V coarse, thick, dark type of hair and I think waxing would be worth a shot to see how I like it in the winter for maybe 4-6 sessions to see a thinning effect? Also looked up IPL, very interesting. If it’s best for lighter hair then I guess not. But also I can do that at home !?? 😭💀 Amazon ?!

ipl works best when there is high contrast between your skin color and hair color, not when you have light hair

Okay that makes sense. I am white, so the contrast is there. Would that be used with a mix of shaving? I mainly don’t mind it, I just don’t care for how it’s textured. It makes the regrowth look and feel icky

ipl you mean? i think you have to let the hair grow to a certain length to do it, but you can reduce texture with a body scrub and regular moisturizing

Just have to stay consistent with waxing for the results you want, majority of people are satisfied with their results. It going to hurt ofc the first two sessions or so but soon becomes just a sit down yap or scroll for 30 mins or so thing 😂😂 wish you luck though 😁
