I went no contact with my mom the day I had an apartment so I wasn’t forced to go home during the holidays and it was the best choice I ever made. The only people who think you’ll regret going no contact are probably parents who have no contact children / people who have great parents

I leave in 49 days for basic and AIT for the army and then I have a 6 year contract to do. I won’t be around at all. I’m going no contact with her so much, I’m making sure she isn’t coming to my going away party
