Getting my nails done is starting to get expensive. Are press ons worth it or can you tell it looks tacky?

What I do is press ons but they’re like uv gel glue, kinda like gel x but the nail is fully formed and colored already. I get the btartbox brand on amazon and they last forever and don’t feel all thin and flimsy like normal press ons. Definitely would recommend getting a mini uv lamp though bc you have to hold the nail down while the glue is curing. 😋

And at the end of the day it’s even cheaper than press ons bc you get so many and the glue/top coat lasts forever
