My opinions on the whole thing: 1. This was about the boyfriend more than it was the daughter 2. While I understand why the director did what he did to get the mother to agree to the documentary in the first place, I wish that was mentioned in the documentary instead of an interview after the fact 3. How this woman avoided any serious jail time (or the sex offender registry) is beyond me

I literally looked back at my bf like are you hearing the same shit I am right now??? Both of our jaws were on the floor. To not only do that but then justify it is actually crazzzyyy. I feel so bad for that girl and the fact she still wants a relationship with her. I don’t think at her age she can see how manipulative her mother is. And if she does I just hope she’s extremely careful.

Dude yeah I don’t get why they didn’t focus on the fact she was clearly obsessed w bf. They like said two sentences then moved on. I feel like a lot was left out. Like it was unfinished almost

Yeah I don’t know how much of that was because the mom was being so controlling of the “narrative” or Netflix clearly treating this more as entertainment than informative.
