I mean personally yeah I eat rare steaks, but if someone asks for one medium don’t think I think that’s the end of the world. I just refuse to go beyond that point.

Yessss! Rare is the correct answer, especially with nice steak. Heck, not just typical steaks but for venison as well, especially if it’s elk! I mean obviously there are some meats that you really shouldn’t eat rare such as black bear or chicken for obvious health reasons, but darn if rare steak ain’t the best.

Personally with black bear I like to do a slow smoke for 10+ hours. But yeah, rare chicken is a great way to get a real speedy trip to the hospital 😂 Also absolutely, elk is 𝙛𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘. Growing up in CO it was one of the first animals I hunted with my dad when I was a kid. Lots of great memories, but I also just love the flavor.
