i’m the same way. i don’t want kids and honestly find them to be way too loud… but if i see a kid in public without their parents i literally wait to make sure they catch up to them. if a child needs my help i will keep them safe. children are an innocent and vulnerable population and it is our responsibility, as adults, to protect them.

exactly. im easily irritated and generally impatient so not for me, but ill be damned if i watch a kid be in a dangerous/vulnerable situation either alone or with their caretaker and not say smthn. especially in my case, it wouldve meant the world if someone who saw had stood up for me even once. so now thats my job😤
