“Getting kicked in the balls hurts worse than a woman giving birth though” well considering men’s pain lasts maybe 5 minutes and labor can last for HOURS even DAYS, stfu and just leave women alone nobody cares about your balls💀not everything is about men

And the fact women are sore and bleed for weeks and some women are cut open and have to practice walking and can’t lift anything heavier than their baby’s like why do men make these comparisons

it doesn’t quantifiably hurt more to get kicked in the nuts than to go into labor… there are a wide variety of types and levels of pain that may be involved in each

i’m saying labor often hurts more than getting kicked in the nuts? bc op started the post by saying getting kicked in the nuts hurts more acutely, and that’s not even necessarily the case. not a man.

Yeah, that’s not what the post is saying though? The post is commenting on the rhetoric that a lot of men use to justify downplaying the pain of labor. The post is a comment on how men downplay the pain of women, especially uterine pain by comparing it to testicular pain when it’s a stupid comparison. Also FYI, labor definitely hurts more than getting kicked in the balls, objectively, regardless of being able to quantify it.

that’s what i’m saying; beyond being a stupid comparison it is usually not true. not sure why i’m getting downvoted for that.

I think it’s because of the way you said it. Its giving very condescending and like you’re trying to argue that getting kicked in the balls is more painful than labor

it’s condescending to the quote “getting kicked in the balls hurts worse than a woman giving birth,” bc that’s harmful rhetoric that deserves condescension.

you COULD have a birth with zero complications as a mother who’s given birth many times and have everything go right internally so you don’t feel as much pain as the average person, and someone COULD get kicked in the nuts so hard they end up with their insides split to smithereens, but that’s not the case for most people. the point is that it’s weird to compare it, and beyond that, not quantifiable in a way they’d be compatible to be compared.
