 Why do OBGYNs treat you like you’re an idiot. YES I know what getting an IUD entails. YES I’m sure I really want it. Holy crap just give me the thing I talked with the Dr for like an hour about it 😭😭😭

Because some people think they’re informed and they’re not, it’s liability too. You’re not an idiot but they do have to cover all the bases😭💔

I could agree with this but 6wks after I gave birth I had a BC consultation appt where we went through all my options and I picked the pill, then I switched to the patch by calling the office. Unless since an IUD is more invasive they legally need more appts to inform me 😭
