I read something of how a coworkers complained their female coworkers sounded too curt and mean in her emails. It’s cause she didn’t put exclamation points in her emails like other women do. She sounded like a guy in her emails. And I realized I often put exclamation points in my emails to sound more friendly. Trying not to anymore but wild how we’ve tried to navigate not being a push over and not getting pegged as a mean firm
