Any tips on how to quit vaping? I’ve been trying to cut back by using a zero nicotine vape and a regular vape but I feel like I’m not making any progress, I want to try stopping cold turkey but I’m not sure I can

i know it seems scary, but i promise you that quitting cold turkey and never looking back is the ONLY way you will quit. it’s definitely harder when you’re at college or deeply immersed in the party scene (wherever you may be) but once you’ve gone 24 hours without a hit, NEVER TAKE ANOTHER ONE EVER AGAIN.

i’ve quit cold turkey a couple times, picked it back up hot turkey a few months to a year later each time. but i’ll tell you what worked like a charm and got me to never go back: accidentally making myself nic sick off of too much nicotine gum

so perhaps i was wrong about quitting cold turkey being the only way lol 😭 but, correct me if im wrong, “easing” off it it almost never helps

i’ve never been able to ease off it personally, i’d just start bargaining with myself and then be right back at square one. i had quit cold turkey, and then when the undeniable urge to get a new vape hit after a couple weeks, i decided to try nicotine gum instead and honestly that worked pretty well because it satisfied the painful craving without giving me the actual “hit” but then the next pack i bought was extra strength and i got violently ill a few minutes into the first piece lmao
