Trying to lose weight with a family who eats out EVERYDAY is such a struggle. We’re going on vacation and all they want to do is eat out for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Literally gonna be skipping out on breakfast and lunch because FUCK no.

Eating out is okay as long as you are watching macros and as long as it’s not super greasy every time. Also, you’re not going to lose a substantial amount of progress during a vacation. Don’t restrict yourself cause you’re just going to be miserable!! Find a workaround even if that’s eating only appetizers at lunch/breakfast

REAL. I never realized how bad it was until I was in a good routine, then I visited my parents and they constantly were asking me what restaurants I wanted food from, and I literally just kept saying “no I’ll have a sandwich at home” 💀

Idk what type of vacay yall are on but most hotels/resorts/cruises have some sort of gym you could also probably utilize if you wanted to

We’re going to a beach house near a strip so there’s stuff everywhere and I understand wanting to try it all but I really didn’t want to eat out every day while being there. I’ll def do the appetizer thing though. Thanks for the idea

Literally! I just noticed how bad it was with my family a few weeks ago and I moved out almost 2 years ago. I ask my sisters what they eat and 9 times out of 10 it’s some goddamn fast food. Nobody cooks in that house.
