i’m not on bc but either way it’s unlikely for me to get pregnant during my period plus we’re both 19 so it won’t happen

Period sex can result in pregnancy. Sperm can survive inside you up to 5 days, waiting for ovulation. And no, your period tracker cannot accurately predict ovulation. 19 makes it all the more likely that this results in pregnancy. Talk to your doctor about this and see what their thoughts are about birth control for you. Unprotected sex isn’t a matter of IF you’ll get pregnant; it’s a matter of WHEN.

A negative is definitive 21 days after sex. Be sure to use protection or get on birth control for next time. Don’t let your infatuation keep you from being safe. If this guy cared about you, he’d care about your safety too.
