my best sitcom-esque dating anecdote is going on two different first dates at the same coffeeshop in the same weekend and seeing the previous date there the next day when we're both on new dates

we were hooking up in my car and his parents were worried about him not answering texts and they saw his location in a random parking lot :))) so his dad went to find him. and texted their family group chat hm… I see his car… and it is empty but the car next to it has fogged windows… and so he had to get out and tell him to fuck off. and later my car didn’t start and we couldn’t jump it so I had to go home with him. and the next morning I had to see both parents in daylight. and i wanted to die

😭😭 i visited my ex's family for thanksgiving and we slept in different rooms so if they were nearby and could've ever run into our car shenanigans they would've been mortified
