My bf says he’s totally fine with never having kids but then will talk about the future even jokingly and reference being a grandpa/ grandkids and I just feel my insides deflate like a balloon every time

I struggle with this so much because I so desperately want to be a grandma later on in life- but the thought of having kids actually terrifies me

We just re-had the conversation a couple weeks ago and he confirmed he doesn’t want kids so I don’t want to keep bring it up but like……

don't make the convo abt whether he wants kids. make it about how the comments he makes like that make u feel like he maybe does want them and if he rly doesn't ask why he says them
