the law is still the law though he didn’t officially need approval and we aren’t starting a war. only we had the missile to do it. iran cannot have nukes.

Girl idk why you’re responding to me. I’m not talking to you. What you’re saying is irrelevant to my comment. All I’m saying is you don’t have to “declare war” for it to potentially be a bad situation. We haven’t declared war for most any if the conflicts we’ve been a part of since WW2.

Are you saying the US wasn’t at war in the Vietnam War, the Korean War, the War in Afghanistan, or the Iraq War?

YES we have been in many military engagements which have sucked & yes this sucks. My point was ab the fear mongering part. Bc while yes this sucks so much, the chances that someone living in the mainland US will be put in harms way bc of this remain incredibly low, just like all of the other military engagements we’ve been in since the last time an actual battle has been fought on the mainland US

I’m not saying impossible, but posting stuff this when there are so many steps before ~most~ of us are actually in harms way is doing nothing other than irrationally scaring people. I’ve got no problem with saying “fuck this is bad for the people on our bases overseas, I hope they stay safe”.
