I understand the reasons for doing it but I also understand why some people don’t. Maybe they have family members following them and don’t feel safe expressing preferred pronouns to those people or maybe they’re questioning their own gender identity and aren’t even sure which pronouns they prefer. If the point is to keep trans people safe then we should also acknowledge that advertising preferred pronouns may, in fact, be UNSAFE for some trans people

This is bean souping it btw lmao I am transgender and I would put money on knowing more than you. Nobody ever said the quote you just shared and if anyone did, why are you taking it so fucking personal if it’s very obviously not about this minority of people you’re creating in your hypothetical situation? It blows my mind that you people were able to graduate high school with your lack of ability to apply context and nuance to things.

Demanding that all trans people publicize their identity on social media or else they must be bigoted seems backwards to me personally
