I’m starting to get a bit of an accent since I moved to Kentucky and work with people from the actual Deep South. Honestly it’s one of my favorite accents in the world, and it makes me sad that it’s perceived that way. Some of the smartest, most progressive people I know are kind of difficult to understand if you’re unfamiliar, because their southern accents are so thick
