In my area you can’t really get it covered by insurance unless you have a life threatening condition like cancer (or a high risk of it) or you’re prone to high risk pregnancies, but honestly I haven’t checked since before I got married so maybe they’d actually consider it. My husband is all for it and doesn’t want kids either, I know some places still have archaic rules like husband consent or consultation

I feel like PCOS should just be an automatic qualifier, it’s literally affecting how much PTO I have at work because I have to use most of it on sick days for my cramps and light headedness. Not even my PCOS specific meds are helping anymore

Exactly!! As much as I would rather be home and not working, it’s not fun going home just to be in pain for an unknown amount of time. I also feel like my bosses think I’m just faking because how do you explain your pain level to someone who doesn’t deal with it?

FR! Especially if they’re male. Like they won’t understand. PCOS affects so many systems of your body too so I can’t imagine that sort of pain even as a woman. That and while relaxing is nice and all, making your own living is a keystone feature of being an adult and all. It gives you independence and you deserve it just like anyone else
