more infants are fed with breastmilk than with formula, but a lot of parents alternate/mix the two or switch to formula later on! not sure the exact stats, but at my daycare for licensing we take exams and i remember being surprised by that too during my lessons since a majority of the kids i watch are formula fed :)

that’s actually so interesting. i always assumed formula was the norm and the first time i saw someone breastfeeding (i was young so kind of dumb) i was completely freaked bc i didn’t think ppl did that anymore 😭
