why is it socially unacceptable to walk around my own apartment with just my bra and underwear but wearing a bikini to pretty much anywhere is totally fine

people (generally) consent to see other people in their swim suits at the beach & such, but your roommates don’t necessarily consent to seeing you in underwear

true true, i’m kinda just complaining. and also i live in a beach town and its really normal to wear bathing suits pretty much anywhere here, not just to the beach but in stores, just out in public in general, stuff like that

yeah they’re girls and i don’t know if they actually care or not but it kinda just feels wrong and im not really the type of girl to just be upfront and ask lol

I asked my roomate like day one if she cares, she really doesn’t but I still throw a robe on just to be safe (best of both worlds) so I’d say just ask!!
