I SAW THAT TOO. A parent is literally their child’s first teacher, so idk wtf she’s been doing all this time. And also, did the definition of “homework” change since she’s been in school or something, cause schools ALWAYS send homework HOME??

that’s why education keeps being set back. 1st grade is about learning what you should’ve learned in 1st grade. 2nd grade should’ve been what you learned in 1st grade. so on. but kids are going into kindergarten having absolutely no idea how to do anything bc their parents coddle them and refuse to actually parent

my niece just started high school and told me she didn’t read a single full book while in middle school. just excerpts bc that’s all their attention span could handle
