Idk I just feel like it’s hypocritical to celebrate gun violence when we claim to be anti gun violence. Isn’t that part of the reason we hate right wing people like him because of how little they care about guns. Yeah it’s ironic as hell but still

it’s not hypocritical BECAUSE of the irony. no one is celebrating gun violence in general. but charlie kirk has literally said gun violence is “worth it” to avoid gun restrictions. so yeah it’s funny that someone who is okay with gun violence became a victim of it

Don’t get me wrong. I despise the man. I just feel like it weakens our cause and makes it seem like we actually do support guns just as long as it’s people we dislike

yea this whole party is hypocritical and leans the way everyone leans as long as it harms the other party. we don’t need to preach for gun safety and ENCOURAGE GUN VIOLENCE! same thing happened with Trump but most democrats don’t wanna have that conversation.

Tbh Im not anti gun, I believe in heavy gun restrictions tho. Charlie is the one who doesn’t believe in restrictions and gun free zones, and well he got shot in a gun free zone🤷🏻‍♀️

I don’t think the fact it’s ironic removes the hypocrisy. You’re either against gun violence or you’re not. If you’re celebrating that someone used a gun to take away the life of someone you dislike then you’re not actually anti gun violence. I’m not upset that he may be gone because he was a dangerous influence and a harmful person in general. But I feel like the responses I’m seeing is compromising our overall stance

No fr its insane that people who claim to want gun restrictions/bands are now praising gun violence. I truly think it's that they don't actually give a shit they are just following what they were told because if you actually cared you wouldn't be happy that a man died no matter how terrible he was

most of us aren’t genuinely celebrating a man’s death. we’re just laughing at the irony. he’s the one who said children being gunned down was worth it. that’s karma if i’ve ever seen it.

i’m just saying, if you’re willing to sacrifice children for your beliefs, you should put yourself on the line first. i would love it if we had reasonable gun restrictions that prevented these types of tragedies, but we don’t. i’d love it if the right took this as a wake up call, but i doubt it.
