I am so utterly convinced there’s something wrong with me. Why doesn’t anyone wanna date me? All of my friends tell me I’m a beautiful person inside and out so I don’t understand why no one wants me. I am heartbroken.

Could just be something with how approachable you seem to others? They might be interested in meeting you but not know how to interact, or think they’ll get rejected. Body language, the part of the room you stand in, facial expression etc can all play a role and have nothing to do with how attractive you are. Also do you ever go up to people yourself? And how do they respond?

aww i’m so sorry you’re feeling like this. i honestly feel like if you’re not meeting someone right now, maybe you or your future partner just aren’t in the place to find each other right now and things will work out in time

I try so hard I do go up to people I talk and usually they respond in a positive way. I try to make myself seem open and I’m just myself so I have no idea what I’m doing wrong…

Ugh I’m so sorry, you seem like such a sweet person. And the fact that your friends and the people you approach respond positively doesn’t make it seem like your fault. Not sure what advice I can give besides keep trying, I’m sorry. Have you ever asked your friends to maybe watch an interaction and give feedback?

Aw I’m so sorry. I’m lonely too, lonely enough to turn to yikyak for social interaction lol fml. We got this though, hang in there and remember it always gets better eventually
