I would love to get married it’s just finding the right person that seems so hard. And I definitely don’t want to settle and marry someone I don’t love or who won’t treat me right.

I think pre marital counseling is a non negotiable especially when you’ve grown up watching not so good marriages !! def the case for me, I will not move forward without consulting someone really wise in that area. it definitely doesn’t guarantee success but a lot of divorced people would have never gotten married in the first place had they went

I haven’t had many good marriage role models either and I recently got married. I just try to keep in mind things I’ve seen other people do wrong and try to do better. Marriage is a choice and you have to choose to love your partner every single day. I haven’t been married long but so far it’s been amazing bc I’m with the most amazing guy ever
