This is my second time being on the pill and it makes me so ill in the head. Why is it allowed and why is this not talked about enough?

Tbh all medications can have bad side effects, but you definitely should have been instructed on what to do if you experience them and it’s crazy there isn’t more warning... make an appointment w your prescriber and ask about alternative options with less side effects like the mini pill. Also if it’s safe for you to stop taking it I would do so now.

i’d def talk with your doctor/ob-gyn about this. i had really bad side effects with the first brand/dosage i had and i was able to get it switched and it helped SO much. everyones body is different though! i hope you feel better soon whether that’s switching to a different form or stopping it entirely <3 despite the side effects birth control is such an incredibly important medication for women and really should not be demonized

Mental clarity is gone, ambition gone, and I have disturbing gory thoughts of myself.

If it’s past your first couple months, ask to switch pills! Each one is different and you should not put up with debilitating side effects. When you had a natural cycle, at approximately which point did you feel best? That can help inform which direction you should go.
