nah girl you're valid for that. Everyone knows it's the same day in the SAME friend group and they didn't even invite you? Thats low. They KNOW it's your day too and decided to not even involve you. I'd be mad too. yeah she can have her own party all about her but they could've invited you to celebrate too

Literally I am amazing and an awesome friend and I had to leave my friend group because they legit did the same thing ish to me. I told them that they wanted to go out and party too much and that I needed to focus on school so that I could get into Harvard law and then they did not invite me to one of my friends birthday parties where everybody was there.

exactly. especially since we all live within 30 minutes of each other. like it doesn’t have to be about me but to purposefully leave me out (again) is getting really old and the more i think about it the more upset i feel

100% valid in that. that's just them being bad friends and Ik it's hard and it sucks but saying something now will avoid a lot of hurt in the future. ik it's easier said than done, so don't beat yourself up if you can't bring yourself to say anything. it’s just so hard bc they’ve helped me through the hardest time in my life and they protected me and made sure i was okay. and now in the past year they’ve been pulling stuff like this and i don’t know what i did wrong. i’ve always tried my best to support them and show them the kindness they showed me and i’m so confused and so frustrated
