Messaged minors. He did really well w playing it off as every boy who messaged him lied about his age. But there were other instances of him sliding into teens livestreams and flirting e them being like ‘I’m going to have to make sure to have your id before talking to u ;)’ or something along those lines.

Right now a guy has come out who was a victim of his when he was 13. James Charles back in 2020 made an “apology” video saying “I was desperate” when talking about talking to underage boys. Again not all of these boys had lied about their age but he frames it that way

Was talking to a guy and housing a guy who was outed as an abuser AFTER he was told he was an abuser saying “can I have him now” made a video about it before the girls court trial sentencing the abuser then released it an hour after he was sentenced which 100% took spotlight off of a victim of DV

There was more I’m just having a hard time remembering. #1 gave a good source to look into. I’m sure you can find many more essays on James Charles. He also asked to be “Uncanceled” in a vanity fair puff piece article. Only to promote his brand. But he has so many fans still because ppl don’t know what he did or they choose to still support him
