I love the artistry of makeup but I prefer a minimal look on myself or a bare face because of sensory issues. I’m not casting judgement on ppl bc of my own preferences for how I do my own and it’s annoying when ppl project that onto you.

I recognize that some of the push towards clean girl makeup is because of the rise of conservatism but not referring to ppl who are choosing a minimal look to fit into a trad wife aesthetic. I’m referring to ppl who just like minimal makeup bc they think it’s flattering

It’s so weird, I literally saw a video saying that women need to wear makeup in the summer time and everyone in the comments was agreeing? Like if you want to wear makeup in the summer that’s fine but why are you trying to dictate other ppls personally choice around self expression? So weird.

yeah everything about women trends and what’s not trendy is looked down on even if it’s what you’ve always done. to me it feels like the opposite, summer is my peak no makeup time bc my freckles are out and i’ve got some color. everyone should feel okay doing whatever the hell they want 😭
