I am religious and I respect the religions and adherents of that are genuine and non proselytizing. But it is important to recognize the history. Particularly colonial history. Christianity is only indigenous to Palestine and destroyed almost all North and South American indigenous religions during colonialism while Islam is only indigenous to the Arabian peninsula and destroyed numerous African and Iranian and Asian religions during its expansion

we can talk ab christianity too. (these photos are native americans after being forced to attend catholic boarding schools) the christianization of the old world was wide scale. statues were defaced, temples burned to the ground, literature destroyed. in the new world and in africa, the native people were forced to convert to christianity, and much of their cultures were destroyed. african spirituality and indigenous american spirituality are STILL called demonic

I gave examples of cultures that both religions colonized. There are also good examples of both of those religions Don’t try to one up the other
