I went to my advisor she told me to finish in 1.5years with taking the labs 1 semester at a time when my prereqs are done. Then I went to the academic advocates and advocated for solutions, I also went to title 9 who didn’t take my case. Then I went to the dept chair of my department she said I could take the 2 labs the same semester when I complete all the other classes. I went to the dean of math and science and he said he agrees with the dean of my department.

And my parents want to say I don’t care abt my education. I spent my own money, close to 5k taking these classes and 15 credits last summer another 5k and my mom said I’m going to hell because I didn’t ask her to spend MY OWN MONEY. I’m so tired

And say what? I mean I’m over 21, I just can’t afford to live anywhere else because I spent all my money on classes. I know this seems insane but I also don’t want to be estranged from my mother. Like I want to be able to call her in the future but not visit a lot. She advocates for me to do a lot with my dad. It’s just so hard sometimes. Idk what the cops would do and it would def break any ties to my family

I’m sorry honey but you’re getting assaulted I don’t see why you wouldn’t call the cops? It seems you know who your parents are. I don’t know the cops can do for you? Can you go to a woman center too and ask if you qualify to live there. I think you need to get the cops involved

Yea colleges really suck at helping their students, even when it’s part of their values. I had a friend who was homeless during college and I saw how hard it was on them. Perhaps you have some friends that might be willing to let you sleep on their couch or something?
