Well it was a bit of both tbh. it started cus my parents were on my ass saying I had a problem and I was failing all my classes and spending all my money and just constantly blacking out every time I drank. And I was like big woop it’s college. So they sent me to like a rehab therapy thing and I was kinda listening but not rlly but I stopped for a bit and then started again thinking I could just have a cute valentines drink w my roommates

And then ofc before u know it i was drinking every night and all day alone and i was like damn. Maybe everyone has a point. So then I stopped on my own and it’s been okay so far

I was like 7 or so months in when I thought I could just have the casual lil drink w my roommates one night and be chill. And at first i thought I slayed cus I drank that night and then not the rest of the week but the next weekend I was like well it was fine last weekend and I went a whole week after so I’m obviously good. And then weekends turned back into daily and such and I ended up back at square one within probably 3 weeks- a month.

thank you, it’s been really hard. it was for health reasons and i know i can have fun and enjoy life without it but it’s so sad. i can’t have wine nights with my girls or go out and have me and my besties favorite drinks or share a joint it’s just really sad tbh
