i’m lowkey kinda torn bc a part of me understands his side DEEPLY. racism is bullying, it’s also a bigger issue than that, but it’s bullying. i can only imagine if the rage i had in 7-8th grade had already materialized when i was bullied in elementary school and the things i might’ve done to my bullies if i DID have said rage. the problem with aggravated assault is that they were aggravated for a reason. maybe that doesn’t completely excuse it, but at least it’s a reason.

i also understand it. but as an adult we have to learn to control our behavior bc our actions have harsher consequences

very true, i don’t know the full story with this situation and maybe there’s more backstory that MIGHT make it even more understandable. but like i said, i still understand your point, im just a little torn bc im imagining if it was me in a situation like that.
