schedule more phone calls. texting creates false connection anyways and doesn't sound like a good judge of the relationship since he's bad at it.

he’s excellent in conversation verbally, it’s just text he’s dry and it sounds nothing like he talks

it wasn’t that big of a problem when we were at college because we practically lived together and never had to text. now that we’re apart and having to rely on it, it’s really becoming a problem
