I would never compare it to World War II and everything that happened back then, but the symbolism is remarkably scary…this white guy online literally told me latinos are the next jews and i should get ready to hide in my attic (i doubt all of this lmfao but what a disgusting ass thing to say).

I’m in California which WAS LITERALLY MEXICO - what are we even talking about?? How is treating people differently based on where they were born remotely acceptable? That’s like saying you deserve more rights bc you were born with a dick and it’s okay to put everyone else in a state of constant fear

my dad immigrated here for ecuador and back then “alien” wasn’t even a term. i’m nervous for my dad and my uncle because my uncle has been stoped and asked for his papers or ID before but not my dad
