Does anybody else feel like they are performing in front of men instead of just being themselves. I hate it like I’m less outspoken and I start to worry about appearance. Like why do I gaf about some guy I want nothing to do with thinks about me.
It’s like wearing the skin of what a woman is supposed to act like I hate it so much. But not like in a trans way I would never want to be a man. I’m truly don’t like a lot of men. I just suddenly feel uncomfortable even if it’s a guy I’ve known for a while

I just always feel like I’m being a girl wrong because I don’t really talk to guys, I find makeup really hard to figure out, and I have more “masculine” hobbies. Don’t worry I know woman are not a monolith, I just wanna do my own thing without feeling like I have to switch up

There’s a word for most of what you’re describing. It’s called being a tomboy. Tomboys are girls, who know and feel that they are girls, but who prefer rough and tumble hobbies over the ones that make them appear dainty and “ladylike”.

Being a tomboy is nothing to be ashamed of, not something you need to hide. Without tomboys like the Rosie’s of World War 2 doing the important jobs the men left to go fight, the Allied Powers probably wouldn’t have won

Thanks I just wish I didn’t always get teased for being “masculine” like stop calling me a stud lesbian I don’t even swing that way 😭
