my friend keeps complaining about the amount of tips she gets at work and her pay and other things and i’m just confused because you need hours to get more money. i can’t tell her i always make the most tips cuz i work the most hours out of everyone

like i close on weekends then open monday and tuesday i have all the most money making hours like ofc im gonna get money. i still need to ask for a raise tho

yeah she’s just complaining to get it out i’m the same way so i let her and always just mention that our manager will give her some extra hours if she asks for it and she says she will

im afraid to tell her tho cuz like she made $15 in cash tips for the pay period and i made $27 and she gets so upset about the tips and even tho its just because i have so many hours i fear she will be upset

i fought HARD too 😭 i have the maximum amount of hours they’re allowed to give me without promoting me (which should happen at the end of the year hopefully!)
